  • WHAT DOES NOSGOTH MEAN?

    Nosgoth is named after the fictional land in which the Legacy of Kain series is set.
  • DO I NEED TO HAVE PLAYED LEGACY OF KAIN GAMES TO PLAY NOSGOTH?

    Absolutely not – Nosgoth is set on its own distinct era of the Legacy of Kain timeline and knowledge of prior events, while empowering, is by no means necessary. All you need to know is that the two factions involved – Humans and Vampires – are locked in a bloody struggle to control the land of Nosgoth, a land they both share and call home.
  • WHAT DO I NEED TO PLAY NOSGOTH?

    Nosgoth is available on Steam on PC.
    Users will need a Steam account and be registered for Square Enix Membership.

  • WHO IS DEVELOPING NOSGOTH?

    Psyonix are the team developing Nosgoth. They have been working with industry leading game publishers and developers for over ten years and recently have had huge success with Rocket League. As experts in Unreal Engine technology and multiplayer gaming, Psyonix has been a driving force behind some of the biggest titles in the marketplace. The studio's first game was the highly successful Onslaught for Unreal Tournament 2004, a game mode Psyonix concepted and designed. Afterwards Psyonix took its experience in multiplayer and rapid gameplay development to work on such titles as Gears of War, Unreal Tournament 3, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Homefront, Bulletstorm, and Mass Effect 3. The studio has grown significantly since the early 2000s and continues to specialize in game development for next-gen consoles, PC, and mobile platforms.
  • WHAT GENRE IS THE GAME?

    Nosgoth is a 3rd person team based PVP (player versus player) game set in a brutal fantasy world.
  • IS NOSGOTH FREE-TO-PLAY?

    Yes, Nosgoth is a Free-To-Play game. We made the decision to go to free-to-play to break down barriers and let as many players into the game as possible. Nosgoth is NOT 'Pay-2-Win' - One of our key goals has been to create a fair experience that doesn't penalise players who don’t spend money in the game.
  • WHEN DID OPEN BETA BEGIN?

    Open Beta began in January 2015.
  • IN WHAT COUNTRIES IS NOSGOTH AVAILABLE?

    We have servers in Rotterdam, Los Angeles, Virginia and Sydney at present which supports users across all of Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and some surrounding (Oceania) countries. Users from outside of these regions may experience a less than optimal latency but it is our ambition to make Nosgoth available to anyone who wants to play it regardless of where they live as soon as possible.
  • IS THE NDA STILL IN PLACE NOW WE ARE IN OPEN BETA?

    No, the NDA has now ended and players are free to take & share screens and video footage of Nosgoth. The Prohibited Activities and rules regarding User Generated Content detailed in the User Agreement remain in place.
  • WHAT IS NOSGOTH LEAGUES?

    Nosgoth Leagues are seasonal competitions where players can compete for in-game rewards and cash prizes by participating in Ranked Matches.
  • ARE THERE TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATING IN NOSGOTH LEAGUES?

    Yes there are Terms in place for participating in Nosogth Leagues and without accepting these Terms players are not eligible for any rewards or cash prizes. The full terms can be found at www.nosgoth.com/leagues/terms
  • I HEARD THERE WAS A $10,000 PRIZE POOL FOR NOSGOTH LEAGUES, IS THAT RIGHT?
